Aaron and Hur

Our goal is to aid, support, and partner with those who lead and serve. To work in their community context through strategic initiatives and individual care.

As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword. - Exodus 17:11-13

Aaron + Hur is a servant-based Christian ministry that is called to uplift the well-being of ministers, pastors, and missionaries around the world. We have a passion to love God and love people well. One of the best ways we do this is by dedicating the totality of our time and efforts to those who dedicate their lives for others. Leaders that serve need service. Unfortunately, not every leader has this.   

According to research conducted by the Schaeffer Institute, 60% to 80% of those who enter ministry will not still be in ministry 10 years down the road. A handful will stay to make it a lifetime career. Stress, isolation and lack of discipleship play a part in the drastic decrees of minister. These elect, highly qualified, called individuals need reinforcement to keep them effectively at their posts. Our mission at Aaron + Hur is to partner with ministry leaders around the world in order to multiply their impact, fortify their families, and further the Kingdom of God.

The locations we visit have individual needs. Not one site is the same, which is why we never arrive with a program or "steps to betterment". Rather, we spend time, we listen, and we pray. Then, we act. Whether it be physical renovations of structures, or dedicated prayer for healing or for breakthrough in a community, we commit ourselves to helping their causes.  We desire to serve humbly and without ego. What we leave behind is only love.

We Believe:

• There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, loving, just, and truthful.

• He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent - one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

• The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.

• That a healthy, encouraged minister should not be a rarity.
